Wow! What a crazy start to Term 2. This week has been a struggle for everyone in many ways. Thankfully everyone is safe, and we are all so happy to be back at school (teachers included).
This term is going to be a busy one. We have many exciting events including a Mariners visit, Life Education, the Small Schools Cross Country and much more.
During the natural disaster I had quite a bit of time on my hands. I have been working on a 1/2/3 page on our school website. It is still a work in progress, but there are pages for each Key Learning Area, with information about what is going to be covered during this term. There will be more photos soon. Homework was sent home yesterday and students' weekly oral presentations will start next week. Please remind your child to bring in their homework book on their news day so they can present confidently. If you need a new homework booklet they are on our class webpage. If your student needs a new exercise book for homework activities please see me.
There has been a slight change to our class timetable. Students will now be having library lessons with Mr Ireland on Mondays instead of Fridays. Please remind your children to bring their library books each week and maybe 1/2/3 will get the borrowing reward this term. This also means that students whose news day was Monday will now have their news on Fridays.
