4/5/6 Class News Week 7

Once again  a pleasing week particularly with the technology. Not only do we continue to use our devices for research purposes and publishing but we continued to produce some very creative versions of the 7x tables. This week we are making movie that include a potato in the story line.
We are reading the The Barrumbi Kids, by Leonie Norrington at the moment. Inspired by the book we are currently researching the good and bad elements of bushfires and writing an exposition on whether they should be deliberately lit or not.
The highlight for this week has been the softball game that was played this morning. After going an hour over time in extra time to try and break the deadlock, the teams agreed on a drawn game. The girls had a very positive and hot experience in their first proper game of softball. I look forward to hearing in the future how the girls go on to progress if they decide to give it another go.
