Wyong Creek School values healthy lifestyle choices. We have won awards in this area in the past.
All students from K-2 have been given a mini passport to encourage them to make healthy lifestyle choices. Each time, during the next two weeks, that they eat fruit or vegetables, exercise or turn off the TV they get to colour in a picture. Each time a picture is coloured the child earns a point. When the mini passports are returned to school, the child from each grade with the highest points will receive a great prize. Good luck with the challenge!
Meanwhile students in Years 3-4 have a mini passport that focusses on the importance of drinking water. Did you know that juice, cordial & soft drinks can contain up to 6 teaspoons of sugar? Water is a much better choice!
Both challenges are available to our students thanks to North Sydney Area Health Services!
